Your Citizenship Application — Done Right the First Time

Applying for U.S. citizenship is one of the most important applications you’ll ever file. The N-400 (Application for Naturalization) looks like a form. In reality, USCIS treats it as a full review of your residence, travel, tax compliance, and background. I prepare N-400 applications carefully, completely, and checked twice before they go out the door.

Price: $350

Flat fee for complete form preparation. Note: the USCIS government filing fee is separate and paid directly to USCIS — currently $710 if you file online or $760 on paper (biometrics are included; per the USCIS fee schedule as of 2026). Government fees are non-refundable, even if USCIS denies the application — which is exactly why the application needs to be right before it goes in.

Who this is for

Lawful permanent residents who are ready to apply for U.S. citizenship — typically after 5 years as a green card holder, or 3 years if married to and living with a U.S. citizen spouse. If you’re not sure you meet the continuous residence and physical presence requirements, I’ll screen that with you before we start.

What’s included

  • Eligibility screening — we confirm you meet the residence, presence, and timing requirements before you pay a filing fee
  • Complete preparation of Form N-400
  • Personalized document checklist — green card, tax records, travel history, marriage evidence where applicable
  • Full review of the application package before filing
  • Guidance on what to expect at biometrics, the interview, and the English/civics tests

How long does naturalization take?

As of 2026, USCIS processes most N-400 applications in roughly 8–14 months from filing to oath ceremony, but timelines vary significantly by field office — some move much faster, some slower. Filing a clean, complete application is the one part of the timeline you control.

Important: please read

Form preparation assistance only — not legal advice. I am a tax professional, not an attorney. I prepare your N-400 application accurately and completely, but I do not provide legal advice about your eligibility or immigration strategy. If your case involves criminal history, a prior denial, extended absences from the U.S., or anything else complicated, you should consult a licensed immigration attorney before filing. I’ll tell you honestly if I think your situation needs one.
